FSX Fokker Spider. Anthony Fokker flew over the city of Haarlem on August 31st, 1911. This freeware model was made to fly it at home. By Rien Cornelissen.
FSX Curtiss F9C-2 Sparrowhawk. The Sparrowhawk was a small light weight fighter designed to be carried internal to the large US Navy dirgibles such as the USS Macon and USS Akron and launched for defense and then retrieved on trapeze fittings. This is a native FSX SP2 project. It is painted for service with the USS Akron. It has the usual animations, animated tail hook, bump maps, and .dds textures. FSX Douglas O-46. The Douglas O46 was the last of a long line of Douglas Obsevation aircraft designed for the USAAC. It first entered service in 1937. This is an FSX Acceleration native model. It has the usual animations, reflective glass, working cowl flaps, some bump maps and .dds textures. The 2D panel and VC are based on panels of similar craft of the same era. FSX Curtiss CW-1 "Junior". A true FSX version of the "Junior" created with FSDS v3.51 and compiled with Xtomdl. It has the usual animations, landing light, and nav lights. It comes with two liveries: a factory paint job and a white livery from the last existing CW-1 in France. It has a 2D panel and a VC with moving controls. By Paul Clawson.
FSX Boeing 314 Clipper. Boeing's Clipper redone for FSX. This is an original Mike Stone airframe redone by D. L. Tarbox. Textures were changed and panel was redone also, although there is no vc. Complete aircraft included.
FSX Curtiss P-6E Hawk. Another flyable AI model that came from the Bill Lyons Golden Hawaii package, the Curtiss P6E Hawk. It uses the Waco Classic Sound and Panel. Modifications were made to make it flyable. This is the whole aircraft. What's more, Shockwave lights have been added to it. By David Burgess.
FSX Waco SRE Aristocrat. The Waco SRE dates from 1940 and was the last of the Waco cabin biplanes. It was luxurious for its time and was known as the Aristocrat. This is a native FSX Acceleration model based on the paint scheme of a SRE owned by a personal friend. It has the usual animations, .dds textures, reflective glass and a specular shine. The VC features working gauges and animated flight controls. There is a minimal 2D panel. By Paul Clawson.
FSX Laird Turner Meteor. Roscoe Turner had set many records with his Lockheed Vega, Air Express, and Wedell Williams but the Wedell was getting outclassed and in 1936 Turner contracted with Lawrence W. Brown Aircraft Company to build him a new racing aircraft. The Laird Turner Meteor was flown to victory by Col Roscoe Turner in the 1939 Thompson Trophy Race. FSX Boeing F4B-4. The Boeing F4B-4 was the last fixed gear biplane fighter in the US Navy inventory. This model is painted for Squadron VF-6 assigned to the USS Ranger CV-4. It was designed in FSDS v3.51 and compiled with Xtomdl into FSX SP2. The textures are .bmp format. It has the usual animations plus an operating tail hook. The 2D panel and VC are based on a photo and the VC has operating instruments plus animated flight controls. You can use this package to fly in a full section formation with you friends or give FSX Recorder Module v1.3 a try. Full section repaint by Andreas Fey. FSX Buecker BU-133 Jungmeister in the paint scheme of Elisabeth Bach. The Jungmeister with its radial engine was a more powerful aerobatic biplane than the BU-131 Jungmann. Liesel Bach, the best German female aerobatic pilot between 1930 and 1970 flew that Buecker BU-133 1937 in Zurich. The original FS2004 model is from Capt. I. D'Attomo and Capt. G.Quai. FSX Waco Classic. This is Lynn and Bill Lyons' Waco Classic for FS2004 converted to FSX. Tweaks and modifications by David Grindele.
FS2004/FSX Waco CG-4 "Hadrian". This model flies equally well in both FS2004 and FSX as a stand-alone glider. It has the usual animations plus opening nose section and spoilers. It is towable in FSX. The readme contains instructions on how to change the tow plane to a C-47. By Paul Clawson.
FSX Antoinette Type VII. The Antoinette Type VII Monoplane has been considered by many to be the most beautiful aeroplane of the period. Few Antoinette Monoplanes were built, but one, owned and flown by Hubert Latham, a master of the type from England, made a number of famous flights in the U.S., including one across the Golden Gate and over the cities of San Francisco. FSX Howard DGA-15P. The Howard DGA-15 was first produced in 1940 and was quite luxurious for the time. About 40 were produced for the civilian market. Later production was for the Navy as a air ambulence and the Air Corps as a utility transport. This is a FSDSv3.51 project compiled with Xtomdl into FSX. It has the usual animations, nav lights and landing lights. It uses .dds textures. The 2D panel and VC are based on a early photo. The VC has working gauges and animated controls. By Paul Clawson.
FSX Native Paulistina. The CAP-4 Paulistinha was a military and civilian trainer aircraft built in Brazil during the 1930s and 1940s. It was originally developed by Empresa Aeronautica Ypiranga (EAY) as an unlicensed copy of the Taylor Cub powered by a Salmson 9Ad radial engine. It featured a high strut-braced wing, two enclosed tandem seats, and a steel-tube fuselage with fabric covering. Its tailwheel undercarriage was not retractable. Gmax model by A.F. Scrub.
