X-Plane 11.30 AS-565 Panther. The Eurocopter AS565 Panther is the military version of the Eurocopter AS365 Dauphin medium-weight multi-purpose twin-engine helicopter.This X-Plane model include two types: a Pedro and a commemorative Panther. These two aircraft are very close in terms of equipment: the AS 365 F "Dauphin Pedro" on board the aircraft carrier "Charles de Gaulle" is mainly assigned to sea rescue in the crew rescue mission. The AS 565 SA "Panther" on board the Cassard, Lafayette, and Forbin type frigates, is devoted to anti-submarine warfare and the protection of civil or military ships in the fight against terrorism. These aircraft respectively equip the 35F and 36F fleets of the French Navy since 1990, the year of their launch by Aerospatiale Marignane.
