IndiaFoxtEcho F-35 Update MSFS

First, we'd like to thank you for the overwhelming support to our F-35 project. We are awfully sorry that so many users are experiencing CTDs and we are working with microsoft and Asobo to understand the root cause of the problem.

The good News is that, analyzing the crash dumps, microsoft has finally been able to replicate the issue, so we are making some progress.

Note that some users have been able to solve their CTDs problems by either following the official troubleshooting guide, or by updating drivers, etc.

We have collected potential actions and FAQs here.

Aside, we have just released an update for the F-35 which is primarily aimed at fixing the throttle issue introduced by MSFS - however we have also introduced a number of fixes and improvements.

We are not happy with a number of aspects of the product - and we are working to improve it.

DC Designs Concorde For MSFS Dev Update

Here's the first Development Update of the year direct from our developer DC Designs. Please note all shots shown are WIP.

Concorde's flight deck is now starting to come alive as more functionality is added. All switches, knobs and buttons are now active with coding being created to cover the huge array of functions for this complex airplane. The engineer's station is now also fully animated. Textures are being applied and soon coding will begin on the huge number of annunciator lights and other instruments, often unique to Concorde.

Work has also been on-going with Concorde's flight model, which also requires many unique characteristics including supercruise. The model is nearing the flight-testing phase. While it already can fly in the simulator and reach Mach 2, it does not yet do so in the correct way. Step climbs, centre-of-gravity balancing via fuel transfer, thrust and drag curves and a host of other features are being worked upon to ensure that Concorde flies as she did in real life. The exterior model will receive further enhancements including weathering, improved PBR and continued modeling detail work as the project progresses.

Hope you enjoy these latest screen shots.

We are also excited to announce our third SDK live Dev Q&A, coming February 9th at 10:30am PT (1830Z). If you have SDK specific questions, feel free to like or comment on this thread. Have a great weekend simmers!

SDK Update

  • As a start to a great 2022, we will soon invite you for a new live SDK Q&A, just like we did a couple of times last year. There will not be a specific topic this time, so please come with any unanswered questions you may have. We're looking forward to an interactive session.

Dev Mode

  • Metadata is now properly deleted upon a Clean Package operation.
  • Visual Effects Editor
    • We fixed the blur effect to make it look more realistic. No impact should be expected in your existing effects if you used our Heat FX.
  • Aircraft Editor
    • We just started a global revamp on the Aircraft Editor. It will constantly be kept up-to-date with the existing parameters in the sim - among other improvements to make it really useful when creating an aircraft.

Lionheart Creations Update on DA40 XL For MSFS

Wide aspect screenshots of the DA40 XL. A very nice, flowing cowling. Her avionics are 'in surgery' presently. Code guru RonH is overhauling bits of the Garmin system and adding some cool engine features, icing features, and a few other cool things that will make this aircraft more realistic.

The Diamond DA40 Diamond Star is an Austrian four-seat, single-engine, light aircraft constructed from composite materials. Built in both Austria and Canada, it was developed as a four-seat version of the earlier DA20 by Diamond Aircraft Industries. By the end of December 2020, 2,200 DA40s had been delivered, including 500 NG models.
