As you know Wizzsim has not been updated for a while.

Basically I am getting married which has caused a great deal of stress for both myself and my partner, lets just put it this way it can only happen to us everything that can go wrong has and when I mean everything I mean our wedding planner, our cake maker, the venue, our DJ have all let us down, half the guest's cant come even though we gave a year in advanced notice. We now have just over a month too fix and sort out our wedding from complete disaster.

Getting Married is stressful enough but when everything goes wrong so near to the wedding the stress is almost unbearable

Wizzsim will be updated in due cause but I wanted to explain why and now you know.

  • Just Flight - Final F15 Screen Shots for MSFS

So the F-15 C, D, E & I Eagle will be hitting MSFS this coming week. As it's being readied for take-off here's a set of final screen shots showing all aspects of including model variants that will all be included in the final pack. Fully native MSFS aircraft All models have been coded with Microsoft Flight Simulator native 'Model Behaviors' animations and built to MSFS operational specifications to prevent issues with future simulator upgrades. The DC Designs F-15 Eagles are fully compliant with MSFS native materials and make use of the new simulator's features such as rain effects and sounds, fully reflective glass, native aerodynamic sound structures, the new 'Modern' aerodynamics system with the ability to provoke 'departure spins', and customised visibility controls for wheel chocks, covers, GPU and guard. The F-15 Eagles also contain custom-built and animated effects such as G-vapor, afterburners, and custom-modelled Head-Up Displays. Other features include authentic night lighting which includes user-operated 'slime lights' for combat operations and custom-coded air-intake animations based on aircraft airspeed and angle-of-attack. Numerous external animations including canopy, crew ladders, tail hook and control surfaces are modelled to mimic the Eagle's 'active' fly-by-wire systems. The F-15 Eagles are also fully compliant with Virtual Reality headsets. Source
  • Verticalsim Tampa Announced For MSFS

VerticalSim announces that they are working on Tampa International Airport (KTPA) for MSFS 2020. In addition to the airport, the scenery will include main downtown buildings. Also announced is that Eppley Airfield KOMA will be brought to Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. Tampa International (KTPA) is now in Work In Progress status for Microsoft Flight simulator (2020). As a Tampa native, I'm excited to bring my arguably said "best" work over to this platform (Currently planning drives to the airport to conduct surveys). I will be sharing several preview "blog" style updates along the way, as this is a big project & current infrastructure changes will make this a bit difficult. During this time, KOMA will be brought to the MSRS platform as well; and will probably release before Tampa (more on that at a later point). KTPA will feature: Main Downtown Tampa buildings (Truist, Regions, PNC, Sykes, etc.) Several surrounding landmarks (Tropicana Field, Raymond James, Rocky Point, International Plaza Mall, etc.) Terminal interiors All airport buildings modeled 2022 Airport Layout Animated monorails, SkyConnect Airport mesh featuring the 3 taxiway bridges HDR Lighting Custom Jetways Source
  • FSA Cross-Community Panel Discussion

Can Flight Sim Impact Real-World Aviation? Win a Thrustmaster Airbus Officer Pack in FSA's Cross-Community Panel Discussion! Join the livestream at 2000 GMT on February 26 for Flight Simulation Association's third Cross-Community Panel Discussion. Panelists include Robert S. Randazzo (PMDG), Fabio Miguez (TheFlyingFabio), Keith Smith (PilotEdge), and Laura Laban (Infinite Flight). In an emergency, could a flight simmer land an airliner if they had to? How is home flight simulation impacting real-world training today? And what more should we be doing? This Saturday, panelists from PMDG, PilotEdge, Infinite Flight, and 'TheFlyingFabio' will be joined by developers from around the community in a discussion about how consumer flight simulation can impact real flight training. The 90-minute livestream is available to everyone, free. All live participants will have multiple opportunities to win more than 20 prizes donated by organizations like Aerobask, Infinite Flight, Laminar Research, PilotEdge, PMDG, SoFly, Thrustmaster and more. The grand prize, drawn at the end of the live event, is a Thrustmaster TCA Officer Pack Airbus Edition! The panel will discuss topics like: What does home flight simulation do well? And what are its limitations compared to full-motion simulators used in real training? How might home flight simulation change real-world aviation training over the next 10 years? What more, if anything, should our community be doing to advance home flight simulation's role as a solution to the industry-wide pilot shortage? Everyone is welcome to participate. We encourage pilots and flight simmers to watch the stream live on February 26 at 2000 GMT via Flight Simulation Association, on YouTube, or with any of the participating content creators. If you are a flight simulation developer or a content creator, please reach out to FSA for information on getting involved. Win great prizes. Everyone participating live will have the chance to win prizes! There will be multiple prize draws conducted live during the stream. Watch with your favorite content creators. We've invited content creators from across the community to host "watch parties'' on their channels. You'll be able to catch the livestream on multiple Twitch and YouTube channels, including with AviationLads, Chewwy94, FSElite, and, and you can listen live on Sky Blue Radio. Several developers will also be hosting a "simulcast" on their social channels. Flight Simulation Association: www.flightsimassociation.comStream Link on FSA: Link on YouTube:
