Basically I am getting married which has caused a great deal of stress for both myself and my partner, lets just put it this way it can only happen to us everything that can go wrong has and when I mean everything I mean our wedding planner, our cake maker, the venue, our DJ have all let us down, half the guest's cant come even though we gave a year in advanced notice. We now have just over a month too fix and sort out our wedding from complete disaster.

Getting Married is stressful enough but when everything goes wrong so near to the wedding the stress is almost unbearable

Wizzsim will be updated in due cause but I wanted to explain why and now you know.

  • MSFS 2020 PerformancePLUS Flighting Opportunity

Thank you to everyone who has helped provide feedback in previous builds! We are excited to announce our next flighting opportunity - PerformancePLUS. This build has significant performance updates and more, and we seek users who are willing to provide feedback from a diverse range of setups, peripherals, and experience. Our Goal We would like simmers who are very experienced with our sim to help us identify regressions from our work on the update based on the most recent live build (World Update 5) and target areas of the sim in performance, stability, compatibility with hardware and devices, and aircraft. Sign up will be through Xbox Insider Hub and requires a Microsoft Store version of the sim. Like all previous flights, it is under NDA, and all feedback and communication will be via a private forum category. Who Will Be Invited? Registration will open on a first come, first served basis through Xbox Insider Hub on Wednesday, June 30th at 8 am PDT (3 pm UTC). In addition, we will be including subject matter experts, past active participants, 3rd parties, and more from our internal list of users. We sent out forms earlier for aircraft experts as well as peripheral testers - if you have been picked out of that group, you will be automatically added to the Xbox Insider Hub and forum group before the flight begins. • IndiaFoxtEcho FSX/P3D Aircraft Now Freeware

In Italy we have a saying: "ogni promessa e debito" that is "every promise is a debt". Last summer we have decided to withdraw our P3D / FSX products from sales - one reason was that the sales numbers were extremely low, but the main reason is that it was becoming too difficult for us to provide a decent customer support for these platforms - and we think that a good customer support is extremely important for payware projects. But we promised that we will re-release these products as freeware - as a small sign of gratitude for the support we have received from the FSX/P3D community. Here are the links for the first batch (sorry for Eurofighter and F-35 fans... these will come at a slightly later date as we have to repack a couple of files). FREEWARE RELEASES FOR P3D / FSX Note that while these packages are now declared FREEWARE FOR NON COMMERCIAL USE, they are still COPYRIGHTED. Any usage different than private / recreational use in Microsoft Flight Simulator X or Lockheed Martin P3D is prohibited. In particular, it is PROHIBITED to: Reverse engineer the content of these add-ons and extract code or graphical assets for any purpose. Convert these package to other flght simulation platforms, games or any other application. Use these add-ons for professional training or in any commercial application. THESE PRODUCT ARE RELEASED "AS THEY ARE" - NO WARRANTY OF ANY KIND PROVIDED - NO SUPPORT OF ANY KIND PROVIDED. Source
  • Orbx Announces KBOI Boise Airport MSFS

Orbx has announced that Boise Air Terminal (KBOI) is under development for MSFS 2020. The product page is up with the details but the actual release date has not yet been announced. Boise Air Terminal or Gowen Field, as it is also known, is located in the USA state of Idaho and is a joint civil-military airport. The airport has eight airlines servicing 26 non-stop destinations across the United States including Orbx destinations like San Jose and Burbank. Boise Airport's standout feature is its tall ATC tower which was once the tallest building in the whole state of Idaho, standing at 295 feet. Boise Airport had the longest runway in the United States in 1938, at 8,800 feet. The current passenger terminal opened in 2003. The previous passenger terminal was an aging steel hangar used by Varney Airlines (now United Airlines). As the size of the planes grew over time, the hangar became too small to accommodate the new aircraft. In 1964, United Airlines was the first airline to provide jet service to Boise with its Boeing 727s. As a mixed civil-military airport, you can expect to see more than your usual airline traffic with the 124th Fighter Wing of Idaho National Air Guard operating A-10 Thunderbolt II out of the airport. • MSFS January 7th, 2021 Dev Update

We hope you and your loved ones stay safe this season. Feedback Snapshot - Bugs Feedback Snapshot - Wishlist SDK Update DevMode: The updated version of the in-game console is now included in our production pipeline and will be available as part of the upcoming World Update 3: United Kingdom / Ireland. We fixed a bug affecting the taxi light signs' size in the Scenery Editor. Our first wizard setup for airports is being reviewed and tested to ease up the creation of new airports via the Project Editor. Hierarchical instances / Grouping in Scenery Editor is in the testing phase and is also going well. We are always looking into how we can better improve the devmode experience while stability will remain a key pillar throughout 2021. WebAssembly: Security for WASM modules has been the focus of our efforts throughout the week. Third Party Update Since launch, we have approved nearly 100 3rd party development teams to the Partner Program and they have released close to 350 products on the platform to date. Another 300 additional aircraft, airports and other add-ons have either been announced or are in production. It's also exciting to hear about new companies joining the program or new add-ons being developed every single day. We're thrilled to see this level of activity which shows how vibrant our platform is already in just a few months. We're eager to see what the third party community will come up with in 2021! Airports: 285 airports (+12 from last week) have been released for the platform so far. 97 airports (+7 from last week) are already in our in-sim store. 65 airports (+8 from last week), beyond the released airports, have been announced. 121 airports (+5 from last week) are not announced, but are in development based on information from 3rd parties. In total 471 airports are either already released or are in active production. Aircraft: 15 aircraft (+3 from last week) have been released for the platform so far. 7 aircraft (+1 from last week) are already in our in-sim store. 67 aircraft (+7 from last week), beyond the released airplanes, have been announced. 23 aircraft (+3 from last week) are not announced, but are in development based on information from 3rd parties. Per request from Aerosoft and the development team led by Hans, the CRJ was recently delayed. It's good to see Aerosoft's commitment to quality and that they want to invest additional time to make this plane a standout release and we are happy to help them get there. Scenery: 106 scenery add-ons (+60 from last week) have been released for the platform so far. 10 scenery add-ons (+0 from last week) are already in our in-sim store. 3 scenery add-ons (-1 from last week) beyond the released scenery, have been announced. • VSKYLABS Updates A22-LS And Icon A5

The VSKYLABS Aeroprakt A22-LS Project was updated earlier this week to v1.07. The update included interaction addition, which is a built-in binding capability of the braking lever to a Joystick axis. Quite useful for those who are focusing on Joystick hardware controls and would want to fly the aircraft with the *real* feel. Braking in the A22 is made by a single lever which activates both brakes symmetrically (similar to the braking system in the Flight Design CTLS aircraft). Now, with the use of the built-in axis assignment, it can be done not only in VR/on-screen/switch/button... but also with the use of a dedicated Joystick axis. More information regarding this update can be found in the project's main pages (update log / POH), also in the VSKYLABS support forums. The VSKYLABS A22 is expecting a major upcoming update, which will include the addition of a new variant: A Floats equipped Foxbat! Update will take place in the near future. The VSKYLABS ICON-A5 Project was updated as well. This time it was a minor update: added payload weight interaction with the passenger, also the passenger model was refined for better visualization. More information can be found in the project's main pages (update log / POH), and in the VSKYLABS support forums. Source
  • MSFS October 7th, 2021 Dev Update

Pre-release testing for Sim Update 6 has begun! If you are interested to see what's coming in this update, we posted the tentative Release Notes for Sim Update 6 here. If you have specific questions about the Reno DLC, please post them here. Have a great week! - The MSFS team SDK UPDATE Dev Mode We developed a new Aircraft Thumbnail Capture Manager which allows you to take several preset screen shots of one or several aircraft and automatically save the result in the folder of your choosing. Regarding gauges, we added a new option to switch between GDI & NanoVG at runtime. We improved the UI of the Objects window: it now has 2 columns, one for packages & one for objects. Existing ArtProj assets groups will be automatically converted into ModelLib asset groups. Scenery Editor We are currently developing a "top/down" camera that will be particularly useful when editing an airport. We added and optimized the debug OSM point features. We disabled the gizmo while editing the heightmap. We further optimized the exclusion polygons. We fixed an issue where the windows would pop-up out of the screen when opened from the far right side of the main screen Visual Effects Editor We fixed node graph display issues when editing a newly created effect (e.g. white output pins, links disappearing upon edition). We added a constraint on name when creating or renaming a visual effect. Confirmation pop-up is now displayed when trying to create a new VFX with unsaved modifications on the one currently being edited. We fixed several issues on the BezierCurve. SimConnect We enabled Key Events: KEY_AILERON_RIGHT KEY_AILERON_LEFT KEY_ELEVATOR_UP KEY_ELEVATOR_DOWN Source
