Message?

As you know Wizzsim has not been updated for a while.

Basically I am getting married which has caused a great deal of stress for both myself and my partner, lets just put it this way it can only happen to us everything that can go wrong has and when I mean everything I mean our wedding planner, our cake maker, the venue, our DJ have all let us down, half the guest's cant come even though we gave a year in advanced notice. We now have just over a month too fix and sort out our wedding from complete disaster.

Getting Married is stressful enough but when everything goes wrong so near to the wedding the stress is almost unbearable

Wizzsim will be updated in due cause but I wanted to explain why and now you know.

X-Plane Scenery--OpenSceneryX 4.4.0. OpenSceneryX is a collection of X-Plane scenery objects, contributed by various members of the community free-of-charge. The library is growing to become a comprehensive set of high-quality scenery elements for use by any scenery author, reducing the time taken to build a custom scenery package and reducing the load on X-Plane. The library contains many pre-built 3D models including buildings, aircraft and vehicles as well as a large collection of ground markings, ground furniture and trees from both Europe and America.REMOTE....LINK...

lars_hoyer_vehicles0

X-Plane Lars Hoyer Vehicles 1.0. These 37 car and truck objects were originally made by Lars Hoyer back in the stone age. They were packaged into a library for use in FS2004 in 2006 by Steve Ziegler; I haven no idea when Lars made the originals. I am unable to contact Lars, but since he made them for anyone to use in freeware scenery, I'm guessing he'd have no objection to me converting them for use in X-Plane. Thanks to Arno Gerretson for his magical ModelConveterX. By Sidney Schwartz.

ccva022_object_library2.11

X-Plane CCVA022 Object Library 2.11. This library contains items I've mostly created myself by using Google SketchUp. Therefore it's a work in progress as I have a daytime job (unfortunately roughly interfering with my hobby) and not much spare time. All objects I've created myself have CCVA in their name. Blue skies! By Lars de Jonge.

  • FSLabs Updated Road Map

It's been a couple months since our last news, so I wanted to take this opportunity and give you an update of our current project development status. We've so far been very quiet as regards our MSFS development plans - we've taken some time to investigate the best possible way to bring our product family into the new platform while maintaining a common code base that still keeps a high level of realism and fidelity as regards the flight model characteristics our customer base has been used to up to now. Given the well documented state of the Microsoft Flight Simulator SDK we are continuing our efforts to innovate beyond the platforms' current limitations. Over the last eighteen months, FSLabs has undergone a period of growth where we've brought a number of new developers on board as well as a new support team member and this allows us to utilize functional teams to develop our products in parallel. A few words regarding our current product road map: We're very excited to be working on the A320 NEO which we expect to make available on the Prepar3D platform initially. The A320 NEO will join the A320-X Master Series line of products that we are working to bring onto the MSFS platform. We also expect to release the Concorde on Prepar3D first and again, we're working to release it to the MSFS platform. We will be excited to share more previews of this title as it enters beta testing in the next six to eight weeks! We're also happy to announce that the A3XX product that we've been teasing for a while now is in fact the Airbus A330. We've been working on this product along side our other development and we expect to give you more news on that later on. Last but not least, as promised in my last news announcement, we're excited to bring a functional update to the A319/A320/A321 WTF series that brings the EFB, and Jump Ahead feature to these aircraft (for owners of the Sharklets series) as part of today's update that will become available in the next few hours as part of our experimental channel. This update will also include more fixes and improvements to the FMGC logic as part of our continued commitment to supporting our existing product family. As always, thank you for your continued support! Source

  • AuthentiKit Spitfire Chassis Lever Released

AuthentiKit is delighted to announce the release of the Spitfire chassis (or landing gear) lever. It has been a long time coming as a very functional version was being tested way back in May 2021. This control is so much the better though for the time and refinements that have happened since. Firstly the introduction of our new hydraulic damping technology has taken the tactile experience to a new level and is of course so very appropriate considering that the whole undercarriage is powered by hydraulics. Secondly, an almost disproportionate amount of development time went into the creation of an accurate hydraulic status indicator.   A Journey Concludes The first Spitfire flight control, the spade grip flight stick, was released on December 5th, 2020. In many ways this new chassis lever control is the final piece of the jigsaw as we now have a comprehensive set of the primary controls for a Spitfire pilot. Spade grip flight stick with working brake lever and dual cannon/machine gun button Throttle quadrant with bomb drop button Elevator trim wheel which can be calibrated for precise synchronisation with your sim Rudder trim wheel Flaps lever Chassis lever This is not to say that we are at the end of the line for Spitfire controls. The Spitfire Mk1A for example has a radiator lever and the Universal Hub has been designed with an input for this. For the Spitfire MkIX, which has no such lever, this input may get used for a fuel selector or coil boost/start buttons. Also, once the Universal Hub is upgraded to version 2 then many other inputs become possible. The Plan For 2022 The plan for 2022 is to mobilise the freeware developer community by publishing a series of SDKs which will make it very simple to build a wide range of replica controls by reusing the components which have been developed so far for levers/switches etc. This should hugely increase the rate of development of AuthentiKit controls. Magnetos, radios, multi-position flaps levers, trims of all sorts and many many more controls are coming your way soon and for a wide range of aircraft. Source

  • Flight1 Releases FSHUD For Prepar3D v4/v5

FSHud is a true manager of air traffic - not just a voice of an Air Traffic Controller. Manage your flight plan and communications with ATC through an advanced, yet easy to use, simulator-integrated panel. It's all done in accordance with aviation standards and regulations, with clearances and instructions given at the correct time. FSHud is in complete control of all the air traffic within the simulator, whether it is on the ground or in the air. The system plans and manages the flow of air traffic and handles all of the communication between the aircraft and the applicable controller. This sets the stage for a simulated lifelike flight experience, where ATC knows what each aircraft is doing (including your own) and acts accordingly - just as a controller should!     Flight1.com

  • UK2000 Suspending Scenery Development For X-Plane 11

We have taken the difficult decision to suspend scenery development for X-Plane 11 effective immediately. We know that many of our customers may be unhappy with this decision, but there is simply not enough time in the day to develop for four simulators (FSX, P3D, XP11 and MSFS), when UK2000 has only one developer. Who have their own real life commitments and family to focus on. We faced many issues developing for XP11, as the simulator itself was like nothing we have developed for before; FSX, P3D and MSFS all have the same backend infrastructure. MSFS promises to be the next major simulator, obviously it is not at this stage yet, but we feel it will be in the near future. So will be shifting our overall development focus to MSFS, P3D and FSX. This decision has not been easy, but it is a decision that we feel we must take as an scenery developer for the betterment of our staff and developer to continue thriving in the future. Our current X-Plane 11 sceneries will continue to be available to purchase on our web site, if any customers want to grab any of these sceneries.,/p> Sorry once again. Source
